12 June, 2018, The annual city holiday "Museum Town" was held on the square in front of the Temirtau museum.  This holiday became a journey through the native land "Алтын бесік".

The guests of the town - children from school camps, kindergartens, tutoring centers and single visitors became participants in a grandiose event within six hours. They visited 13 creative sites, got acquainted with culture and traditions, learned the history of the country with the help of intellectual-game assignments, learned national dances and played folk games.

The participants painted and created a patchwork quilt that adorned the yurt constructed for the holiday, dazzled more than thousands of cups of champions, appealed to the Desire Tree, making the most cherished dreams. Also each of them created a space rocket and launched it from the Baikonur launch site.

More than 1,000 people became participants of this event.
