17 May, 2019 Holiday «Benefit of the exhibit. Melody of history» was held to the International Museum Day.

This year carriers of spiritual culture and musical instruments became the main face of the benefit. The main action unfolded around them.

At the main exhibition site «The Spiritual in the Material» unique musical instruments were presented. There are exhibits from the collection of Temirtau and the Regional Local History Museum and private collections.

Visitors of the benefit saw ancient instruments representing the culture of different nations - Kazakh, Tatar, Uzbek, Russian, Greek. As well as orchestral-string, wind, percussion instruments.

Visitors heard the lively sound of kobyz, dombra, balalaika, noise instruments thanks to invited professionals - teachers and students of the G. Zhubanova Art School.

The pupils of the art school during two hours drew pictures in which they showed the heard music of kobyz.

7 creative sites acted on the square in front of the museum, where everyone could plunge into the interactive atmosphere of musical culture.

Over 150 guests attended the event.
