The opening of exposition “Mammoth Tusk (fragment)” was held in the museum within the framework of the project Exhibit of Month on 9 November, 2020.

This time we decided to present one of the oldest items in the archaeological collection - a fragment of a mammoth tusk. It is from 3 million to 15-20 thousand years old. This tusk was found in 2014 when carrying out bulldozing works in the Bereznyaki village.

The exposition presents visual sketches: schematic arrangement of the tusk fragment and the proportional ratio of human and mammoth height

The opening took place live on social networks. Users of the Internet space were able to learn in detail about the unique exhibit, ask questions and receive information of interest to them.
