The expedition completed a five-day tour starting on June 21, 2021. The expedition partisipants are members of the Karaganda tourist club: Pavel Kistanov, Viktor Korolev, Maxim Korolev, Adil Mukhametzhanov.

The route ran around the Samarkand water reservoir. The purpose of the expedition is to get acquainted with the sights, history, flora and fauna of these places and in the future development of tourist routes for everyone who wants to study and get acquainted with the history of their native land within the framework of the project “Sacred Geography”.

At a press conference the expedition members answered questions from journalists of city and regional media. Group leader Pavel Kistanov shared his impressions, collected materials and plans.
