A historical retrospective"Дәстүртойы", a defile of ethnographic objects was held within the framework of the special project " Дәстүр мен ғұрып " and the state program "Rukhani zhangyru" on April 22, 2022.

It is devoted to the Kazakhstan People’s Unity Day. The defile used items from the museum's funds, characteristic of the material and spiritual culture of representatives of different ethnic groups.

Museum staff dressed in national costumes of different diasporas took the items out in turn and solemnly installed them on the exposition pedestals.

The fashion show was accompanied by a video presentation, where each item could be viewed from different angles and get information about its purpose.
