On 18 April, 2018 interactive reconstruction "Kazakhstan Magnitka” began in the Local history Museum of Temirtau city. For the first time, the most important events in the history of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Temirtau city were restored. In April 1958 at the XIII Congress the All-Union Lenin Communist Youth League the construction of the Karaganda Metallurgical Plant in Temirtau was declared by the All-Union  Komsomol Construction of the country. Thousands of young men and women from the Soviet Union came to the construction of Kazakhstan's Magnitka. This historical fact became the basis for the construction of a metallurgical combine. The construction of the Temirtau city contributed to the formation of a multinational composition of the population, marked the beginning of the labor biography of President N. Nazarbayev.

The first participants of the reconstruction plunged into the atmosphere of the 50s of the last century and felt themselves as young builders of the Kazakhstan’s Magnitka. Staff of the museum recreated several historical areas: the Komsomol Committee, Tent Camp, Construction Site and Summer Cinema. For one excursion, visitors were able to go the way of the Komsomol member: get a Komsomol ticket, collect a suitcase for the trip, settle in a tent camp, learn a profession, participate in social competition and visit a summer cinema. All historical areas were reconstructed using stock exhibits and a unique video chronicle of Temirtau in the 1950s. The first participants of the reconstruction were college students and media journalists.
