Temirtau Museum of Local history organized an interactive quest "Museum Detective" for children who are resting in school camps.

The purpose of this quest is to introduce children to the police profession through work with showpiece and intellectual assignments.

Three locations - the investigation section, forensic laboratory, police station are located in the halls of the museum. After completing the tasks, the participants receive parts of portrait of a criminal.

Brief information about the investigator's work is given in the location "Investigation Section". Participants are invited to memorize the exhibits, and then at the command of the guide to determine which of the items disappeared or was replaced and try to disguise the police agents.

Participants must establish in which languages written notes are written, visually identify 5 denominations of white matter, establish the virulence of the fungi presented in the picture in the "Police Station" location.

In the "Forensic science laboratory" location, the excursion participants get acquainted with the work of forensic scientists, receive brief information about professional knowledge. The methods used by criminologists are presented in the presentation and are accompanied by interactive tasks. In this location, children establish the identity of traces of different techniques, examine the smells and determine the animal’s sounds.

Participants compile portrait of a criminal and make a photo for memory after passing through all locations.
