6 March, 2019 a presentation of the installation "Edge of Emancipation" was held  in the museum of Temirtau city in support of the Kazakhstan’s Gender Policy. This installation was created for the International Women's Day, as part of the museum project "The Role of Women in History." The first visitors of the installation were representatives of the Temirtau city’s media and the creative intelligentsia.

The installation was deeply impressed by the artistic contrast that marks the ambiguity of the women emancipation’s theme. In this installation femininity is presented in the form of a soaring delicate white dress. Around this romantic and fragile image are the achievements of emancipation. These are diplomas of higher education, military cap, driver’s steering wheel, election programs and hacksaws, berets and trowels. The ambiguity of emancipation is emphasized by specially organized lighting. The whole installation is closed in the giant word "EMANCIPATION".

Emphasis was placed not only on the decoration but also on the presented exhibits directly associated with the residents of Temirtau city at the presentation of the installation. For example documents of the first woman leader of Temirtau city - Matsneva E.F were submitted. The association with the right to receive higher education became the unique certificates of women on the completion of cooking and typing courses, dating from the beginning of the 20th century. The highest manifestation of equality between men and women was confirmed by a newspaper covering the first flight of a woman into space. Each exhibit is directly related to the phenomenon of emancipation and the changes that have occurred in the life of the townspeople over the last century.

Visitors of the exhibition did not immediately leave the exhibition hall. The installation inspired them to philosophical reflections on the role of women in history, sparked controversy about the «pros and cons» of emancipation.
