21 August historical collage «The task is to raise the virgin soil» was opened in the museum of Temirtau city and devoted to the 65th anniversary of the development of virgin and fallow lands.

The purpose of the historical collage is to tell the young generation about the USSR' s largest economic project, adopted at the March Plenum of the CC CPSS in 1954.

Everyday life, rewards and Labour exploits were presented though the biographies of the Zhamanbekova E., Shepilova L.L., etc, stock documents and museum exhibits.

A special place in the story of the virgin lands is occupied by the works of Soviet artists stored in the funds of the Regional Museum of Fine Arts, Soviet films and songs. All this is reflected in the historical collage.
