A meeting of city students took place with Saule Dyusenovna Kabasheva- a senior lecturer at the Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits Department at the Karaganda Technical University of  A. Saginova, devoted to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Satpayev K.I on April 3, 2024,.
           Students had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the rare profession of “geologist”, the relevance of exploration for mineral deposits, how exploration is carried out, how the geological history of the Karaganda region developed and the contribution of the Kazakh scientist K. I. Satpayev to the development of industry in Kazakhstan and, in particular, Temirtau city.
           During the meeting, guests of the event were presented with exhibits from the funds of the Temirtau Museum: tools and equipment of geologists, samples of ores and minerals found in the depths of Kazakhstan.
