The exposition"Relay stick" was opened onlineas part of the "Exhibit of the Month" project, devoted to the Sport Day in Kazakhstan on August 18, 2023.

The relay stick was used during the first run-relay race of the city jogging club "Meridian".

Club "Meridian" was founded in 1982. Its first members were employees of the Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise and members of their families. They were followed by medical workers and local athletes.
Amateur athletes have more than 40 runs, including several ultramarathons. In 1983, a run of 1260 km "Temirtau - Alma-Ata". And in 1985 - "Temirtau city- Pavlodar - Semipalatinsk - Taldy-Kurgan - Alma-Ata", already 2200 km long.

The biggest achievement of the club "Meridian" was participation in the All-Union scientific and sports ultra-marathon "Pamir-89" along the route Khorog - Murgab - Alpine camp "Lenin’s Peak" - with a total length of 844 km. There were no analogues to such a run in the world.
The opening of the exposition took place in social networks. The exposition will run for a month.
