A presentation of the research photo project “A Look Through Time” took place, devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Temirtau City on October 6, 2023, .

 The research photo project is the result of a collaboration between the Temirtau city’s Museum  and the People's Photo Club "Fusion" (headed by Sergei Kochmarev).

 “A Look Through Time” is a photo immersion into the history of the Temirtau city’s construction.

 Here are presented unique photographic views of our city in the period 1950-1970, identified as a result of many years of work of the museum in the State Archive of the Karaganda Region, the State Archive of Temirtau, and the photo archive of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC.

 To clearly define the “immersion point,” the photo club presents modern views of the city, taken in 2023 from the same angle as the old photographs.

 Visitors can notice how Temirtau city has changed over the past half century, find out how native streets were built, how the appearance of the city has changed. Each set of photographs is accompanied by a laconic text commentary.
