The opening of exposition "Forerunner" devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Karaganda State District Power Plant No. 1 took place in the Temirtau City’s Museum on October 14, at 12.00 pm,.

Unique photographs, documents and exhibits dating back to the 30s of the 20th century were presented on improvised electric poles, symbolizing an important event in the history of the Karaganda region: the launch of the first industrial current in the mines of Karaganda.

Visitors to the exposition could see the certificates of workers, the Photocor - 1 award camera, as well as photo albums designed by the first builders of Karaganda Hydro Electro Station-1 in 1935-38.

Students - electricians of the Temirtau Higher Polytechnic College and representatives of LLP "Bassel Group LLS" (KarHES No. 1) participated in the opening of the exposition.
