A documentary historical reconstruction was held in the museum of Temirtau city live on Instagram, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the presidency institute’s founding in Kazakhstan and the First President Day on November 30, 2020.
The exposition consists of several sections, which contain documents of state importance from the Archives of the KazakhstanRepublic’s President. These documents reconstruct historical events from the moment of establishment of the President post of the Kazakh SSR on April 24, 1990 and until the first democratic elections in Kazakhstan on December 1, 1991.
A special section of the reconstruction restores the chronicle of events using the example of Temirtau city. The originals of documents from the funds of the Temirtau Museum are here: the election program of N.A. Nazarbayev, agitation leaflets of the Karaganda Metallurgical Factory, city newspapers calling to take part in the elections and support N.A. Nazarbayev.
The final part of the documentary reconstruction contains the ballot paper dated December 1, 1991 and the text of the oath of the First President of Kazakhstan.
