A presentation of the photographic research «History in family photos» took place as part of the Family Day on September 10, 2021.
Research work was carried out to study eight thousand stock photos during the year, as a result, several hundred family photos of the Temirtau city’s residents were selected.
After studying the memoirs, biographical information, personal affairs, the choice fell on several families - Nazarbayev, Aubakirov, Orazbekov, Brukh, Matsnev, Perkhin, Baimurzinov, Kasapidi, Valeev, Mayzholov. There are 33 people in family photos, each of them is described in the “History in family photos” exposition.
Photo research “History in family photos” is presented in the form of exhibition areas with installation elements. Museum items and photographs draw a parallel between the personal biography of each family member and the historical and political processes of the 20th century.
