A teach-in “Policy of the “Little October” in Kazakhstan”was held in the museum of Temirtau city and timed to coincide with the Remembrance Day of the Mass Political Repression’s Victims and Famine on May 30, at 10.00 am. Tragic chronicle of the Kazakh people caused by the policy of "Little October": the Decrees of the All-Union Communist Party of 1927-33, letters from the Kazakh intelligentsia, statistics and the consequences of the Holodomor, voiced memories of eyewitnesses was covered through the exhibits, memoirs and documents of the 1920-30s. Events were also reflected through the life of the Samarkand village (since 1945 - the Temirtau city) during the years of collectivization.
The event was attended by students of the Polytechnic College and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Department in the Temirtau city.
