A master class "Graphic Portrait" was held by the artist Y. Pil'tikhin as part of the "Variety" project on January 20, 2023.
Yuri Pil'tikhin is a famous Temirtau city’s artist. He is the head of the city club "T-Art" sinse 2006. He can be called a universal artist who, in drawing and painting, as well as in arts and crafts, has mastered many techniques, writing and creating works.
At the master class, he demonstrated the basics of a graphic portrait - scale, proportions and detail. He clearly presented the options for its creation in the technique of pastel, computer graphics, linocut, cartoon, drawings using liners, pencils.
The culmination moment was an impromptu from the artist - a caricature image of the event participants.
