The museum festival “Benefit Performance of the Exhibit” was heldon the square in front of the Temirtau Museum, devoted to the International Day of Museums on May 17, 2024.
For 11 years, the museum has been implementing the author’s project Benefit Performance of the exhibit. Every year we select a thematic collection from stock items. This time we introduced our guests to museum collections related to certain professions. Hence the name of the holiday “Professional Platform”.
Seven collections, seven exhibition blocks, are located in the center of the square in front of the museum. Through a subject range, we presented professions - metallurgist, builder, doctor, military man, cook, seamstress, huntsman. Unique exhibits were demonstrated - the first cast iron from 1960, a builder's wheelbarrow from the 1930s, a collection of medical surgical instruments, and professional clothing.
Guests of the festival saw not only the exhibition, but also visited 6 creative thematic locations. Where they could learn secrets, gain professional skills and try themselves as a cook, car mechanic, tour guide, photographer, carpenter, trainer.
