The opening of exhibition of the Karaganda city’s photographer Yuri Varygin “The Strange Garden” was first opened on January 16, 2025.
Yuri Spartakovich Varygin is a famous Karaganda photo artist. Successfully works in different genres of photography - a portrait, landscape, street photo. It has the title of EFIAP (Excellence Fiap - Honored Artist of the International Federation of Photo Art).
He is a participant in 400 photo exhibitions, held in 41 countries of the world and 6 republics of the Soviet Union. He is a laureate and a diploma of 159 of them, the owner of 90 gold, silver and bronze medals and bonuses. The author’s exhibitions of Yuri Spartakovich were held in Austria, Spain, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine. He participated in 17 international photo exhibitions on a special invitation.
The works presented on the photo exhibition were created for many years. 59 photos are made in the genres of surrealism, abstractionism, metaphors and photographs. They have a place for fantasies, philosophy, and a little fiction. This is a photo picture where the author invites the viewer to a strange garden in order to reflect with him about the mysterious and unknown.
