On March 1, 2018, the opening of the project "Жүрек жылуы" was held in the Local history Museum of Temirtau city. This project was devoted to the Day of Gratitude.
The opening of the exposition "My Second Motherland" was held in the context of this project. This exposition tells about the fate of five korean families, who were forcibly exiled to Kazakhstan in 1937. Photographs, documents and personal belongings are provided by direct descendants of deportees.
Tskhai Maria Mikhailovna (former head physician of the Children's City Hospital), Tskhai Erich Valentinovich (former deputy head of the central technological laboratory Ispat-Karmet), Tsoy Vera Alekseevna (head of the Korean ethno- cultural association "Koreana" ) became honorable guests of this event. They told about the tragic fate of their relatives, for whom Kazakhstan became the second homeland.
Aimbetova Asemay Muratovna (chief specialist of the domestic policy department), Zakharov Sergey Germanovich and Ibrayev Murat Kazhikarimovich (member of the order of «Еңбек Даңқы»), students of the Polytechnic College, representatives of the ethno-cultural association "Koreana" were guests of this event.
