29 September, 2018, the historical reconstruction of the Kazakh's wintering “ Жауыртау қыстағы ”was created within the framework of the State program“ Рухани жаңғыру ".
This reconstruction was the result of the research activities of the Temirtau Museum about the history of the Temirtau city's surroundings in the second half of the XIX century.
Wintering included several historically traditional zones:
- house made of cob brick with a wood roof and the corresponding interior decoration;
- cattle-pen;
- household area with a machine for weaving mats and a place for cleaning wool;
- cooking area
Visitors of this reconstruction could learn how to make a brick, weave a mat, brush wool, flood a samovar, and gain practical skills in dealing with horses and sheep.
Also, the reconstruction included unique exhibits from the museum's funds, reflecting life and culture of the Kazakh people.
Reconstruction «Жауыртау қыстағы» became a historical rationale and one of the interactive area of the forum-festival «Жауыртаудағы кездесу», which was held within the framework of the program «Рухани жаңғыру».
