19 January, 2019 the exhibition "Pointillism- point of reference" was opened in the Local History museum of Temirtau city.
The audience saw more than 20 canvases, which were donated to the museum by the author and became the basis for the museum’s art fund. Most of the works are natural landscapes. There are pictures of memories, portraits of famous personalities, devoted to native places - the Samarkand village and native right coast.
Visitors were introduced to the life story of the artist and his work. Based on examples of VasilyGritsai’s works, they learned about an interesting direction in art - the technique of pointillism or writing dots.This is the only artist representative of pointillism in our city.
To consolidate the information received, the guys were asked to write a picture in the dotty technique. They tried to create a group work of a pointiistic trend inspired by the artist's work and taking paints and brushes.
This exhibition was visited by students of the Polytechnic College.
