22 March, 2019 Local History Museum of Temirtau city participated in the Nauryz holiday.
The outbound exposition "Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" worked on the central square of the city park during the day. It was in the eight rope yurt, consisted of several sections. Each section was accompanied by information blocks, telling about the tradition of celebrating Nauryz by different nations.
The main part of the exhibition was represented by the "round dance" of national costumes of different diasporas: Uzbek, Russian, Greek, German, Polish, Ukrainian. The center of the exhibition was the Kazakh women's and men's costume. Sections were supplemented with objects characteristic of a particular diaspora - musical instruments, household utensils, decorative and applied, woven, ceramic products.
The eagle, saddle, kumiss set showing the traditions of the Kazakh people was presented in the central part of the yurt.
Interactive zone "Try on the image" attracted a large number of visitors. Anyone could try on the image of a Kazakh warrior, a Kazakh bride in a saukel and grandmother kimeshek, a Russian beauty and take a photo as a souvenir.
The museum produced about 1000 paper tulips which were presented to guests who visited the museum exhibition. Galym Ashimov- Akim of the Temirtau city was the first guest. He with the leadership of the city met with interest material and talked with researchers. About 5 thousand people visited the museum on that day.
