The museum’s thing was presented within the framework of the project «Exhibit of the month» on 10 October, 2019.
The first Soviet mass-produced camera, which was produced in 1930-1941 at the Leningrad Optical and Mechanical Factory was presented to our visitors.
The camera was gifted to our museum in 1974 from Zhanabergenov Mukhamedzhan, who arrived in Samarkand (Temirtau) in 1935 for the construction of the dam and KarGES-1. For Stakhanov's work driller M. Zhanabergenov was awarded the Photocor-1 camera in 1937.
An unusual plate-shaped folding camera is presented along with documents confirming the fact of its delivery in 1937.
