The opening of exhibition “Army rations” took place online in the Temirtau Museum, as part of the “Exhibit of the Month” project on May 2, 2024,.

Our exposition presents an army ration - an individual food ration provided to each Kazakh military personnel when accompanying special cargo, field trips, during exercises, maneuvers, in natural disaster areas, in peacekeeping operations, that is, in conditions where there is no possibility of preparing a hot meal.

During the opening of the exposition, we talked about the general-arms individual food ration . They clearly showed what products are included in its composition and their shelf life.

We also presented information about how scientists conduct experiments and determine what exactly should be included in the army rations of different types of troops.

The army rations presented in our exhibition would be transferred to the funds of the Temirtau Museum by military unit 5516.
