On the eve of Metallurgists' Day the opening of exposition "City in the City" took place in the Temirtau City Museum  on July 15, 2024 .
The exposition "City in the City" is a look at the plant from a completely different angle. The plant is presented as a city with an area of ​​700 hectares, with a developed infrastructure: streets, buildings, industrial complexes, railways, medical centers, a fire station, bus stops and pedestrian crossings.

The exposition "City in the City" is multi-level. We tried to tell about the complex system and history of Kazakh Metallurgical Plant through simple texts, color scheme and technical placement of the exposition.
The first level is a diagram of the plant, which formed the basis of the exposition. On the diagram, the objects of the main production facilities of KMP are marked in different colors.

The second level is a color scheme that allows you to match the color on the diagram with the name and structure of production.
The third level is the color lines that go from the diagram to the metal pillars and information blocks, which through stock and modern photographs, exhibits and text material fully reveal the history and technology of the following industries:

 - agglomeration;

 - coke-chemical;

 - blast furnace;

 - steelmaking;

 - rolling;

- auxiliary shops.
