Temirtau city  museum held an evening - remembrance "Friends of my insomnia", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet Grigory Grigoriadi on October 31 at 15.00 .

Grigoriadi Grigory Themistoklovich (1924 - 1983) - poet, member of the Union  Kazakhstan writers, veteran of the Great Patriotic War, in 1975 - 82 - head of the Temirtau literary association "Magnet", children's creative group "Vzlet", circle of aircraft modelers. Author of four poetry collections: "Heat of the soul", "Nots of memory", "Revival", "Starfalls".

In honor of the poet's anniversary, the museum's collections feature photographs and documentary materials from the personal archives of the Grigoriadi family, manuscripts, drafts, working materials, books and the poet's personal belongings.

The meeting was held in the format of a heartfelt conversation about the poet's work, his difficult life path: repressions against the Pontic Greeks, war and amputation of his leg, creative torments. The poet's son Achilles, who specially arrived in Temirtau from Israel, shared his memories, as well as poets who collaborated with G. Grigoriadi or were brought up on his work. Among the guests were representatives of the Greek cultural center "Pontos", the creative elite of the city, and the media.
