The Temirtau City Museum  held an ethnosketching "Thought": connecting traditions and modernity on December 9, 2024. Ethnosketching is aimed at studying the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people through exhibits and drawings.

Ethnosketching is a creative process in which participants use sketches and drawings to study ethnic elements of culture: ornaments, folk costumes, architecture, household items, and also interact with traditions in a modern context.

Participants will be able to work with real ethnographic objects provided from the museum's collection. Museum staff will talk about the significance of ethnic elements in culture, and Temirtau artist Piltikhin Yu.V. will hold a master class on sketching techniques.
Students of the G. Zhubanova Art School will take part in the ethnosketching. At the end of the event, participants were presented with letters of gratitude.
