The Temirtau City Museumopened a traveling exhibition "They were the first" in the Temirtau Palace of Culture, devoted to the 80th anniversary of Kazakhstan steel on December 26,.
Historical documents and photographs about the launch and development of the firstborn of Kazakhstan's ferrous metallurgy, the Kazakh Metallurgical Plant, are placed on display cases-columns symbolizing the structures of the plant workshop. The atmosphere of the open-hearth furnace is complemented by huge photographs depicting the enterprise's workshops, labor slogans and specially placed here directional spotlights.
At each section, an installation was created with the help of exhibits, evoking an association with the working days and moments of rest of metallurgists.
The exhibition presents the faces of the first steelmakers and rollers of Kazakhstan: E. Baigaziyev, A. Daribayev, A. Zhunusov, M. Muslimov and others. Visitors to the exhibition saw unique exhibits: castings of the first
Kazakhstan steel, documents on the organization of the plant, personal belongings of metallurgists: safety glasses, work gloves, helmet, etc. The exhibition was highly appreciated by visitors: workers and veterans
of the Karaganda Metallurgical Plant "QARMET".
