The online opening of the thematic exhibition "Colors of Summer" from the funds of the Regional Art Museum was held on January 16,2023,. It was held as part of the exchange of exhibitions between museums in the region.
There are about 10 thousand works of art - including pictures, graphics, sculpture, decorative and applied arts in the collection of the Karaganda Regional Art Museum .
The canvases presented at the exhibition were created in different periods of time. The earliest dates back to the middle of the 20th century. Most of the pictures are paintings, as well as watercolors and graphics.
All works are united by one thematic plot - summer. It is demonstrated in still lifes, urban and natural landscapes.
The authors of the pictures are well-known artists of Karaganda. Among them are those who are members of the Union of Artists of the Kazakhstan Republic - M. Abylkasov, A. Osipenko, V. Protsenko, S. Shchegolikhin, P. Antonenko, repressed artists - L. Usaitis, G. Gilevsky and a number of amateur authors.
The opening was attended by representatives of the city club "T-Art" Mustafina Kh.R. and Pil'tikhin U.V.
