The opening of the personal exhibition of Aibek Begalin took place on September 20, 2024,.
Aibek Begalin is a famous Karaganda painter, graphic artist, member of the Artists Union of the Kazakhstan Republic Honored Cultural Figure of the Kazakhstan Republic, Corresponding Member of the Arts Academy of the Kazakhstan Republic , Honorary Professor of the Eastern International Art Institute of China, Diploma holder of the Russian Academy of Arts, awarded the Order of "Kurmet".
Many people know Aibek Begalin as the author of the coat of arms of Karaganda.
He works in the styles of neomodernism, fantastic and classical realism, using different genres - landscape, portrait and still life. And also in his own technique - begaligraphy, which has no analogues. With this technique, the idea of the painting is immediately embodied on the canvas, bypassing the stage of sketches, acquiring details - and therefore it is very interesting to look at his works.
The exhibition presents 41 paintings. These are paintings and graphics. They date back to the period starting from the 90s and are completely new, painted in 2024. In them, the artist depicts a world, somewhere fantastic, somewhere real. And he invites viewers to plunge into his creative world of Aibek Begalin.
