The historical sensory lesson "The Smell of Time" started in the Temirtau City Museum to the City Day on October 1, 2024 .
The museum staff tried to find a new approach to memorizing historical eras - through smells.
During the lesson, the excursionists were able to immerse themselves in the history of the Temirtau city, where 12 types of smells from different time periods were presented for review: wormwood, dung, black bread, potato peel, "Red Moscow" perfume, etc.
The children were also able to touch things, ancient artifacts and museum exhibits that their grandparents once used. They had an amazing opportunity to hear the sounds of construction sites, the clatter of tram wheels, etc.
