12 April, 2019, the exhibition "61 degrees Fahrenheit" was opened in the museum of Temirtau city and timed to the International Book Day. 61 degrees Fahrenheit or 16.5 degrees Celsius is the optimum temperature for durable book storage. The museum violated this strict rule and took valuable books from the storerooms.

A textbook of mathematics in the Kazakh language using the Latin alphabet (Yanalif) of 1935, a Muslim religious book in Arabic of the 18th century, Christian religious literature and textbooks of the 19th century and the first edition of the Master and Margarita novel are especially valuable exhibits of this exhibition. Rarities aroused great interest among the first visitors of the exposition - students of the Polytechnic College and journalists from republican, regional and city media.

The exhibits are placed in artistically decorated areas corresponding to the era of the publication of a rarity. There are photo zones for visitors in the exhibition.

The exhibition "61 degrees Fahrenheit" is the result of many years of collecting and research activities of the museum. Each exhibit has its own history connected with the history of the Republic and the Temirtau city.
