30 April, 2019, an event «The Century Tradition of Russian Costume» to the People Unity Day was held in the museum of Temirtau city.
Research work was carried out throughout the year within the framework of the project «The History of National Costume». The authentic Russian women's costume of the Samara province of the early 20th century was reconstructed thanks to it. It was presented at the defile, which allowed to show the complete image of Russian national clothes.
A reminder of what was created in the framework of the project for 4 years was defile «National Costume». Models in the Kazakh men's and women's costume, as well as Polish, German, and Greek passed on the catwalk.
Representatives of the Russian ethno-cultural center «Bereginya» took part in a defile-show, demonstrating various variations of women's costume clothing.
