The  exhibition "Ticket of the  Writers Member Union of the USSR Fetko V.G." took place online on June 10, 2024, as part of the "Exhibit of the Month" project, .

Sabit Mukanov, Gabiden Mustafin, Gabit Musrepov, Olzhas Suleimenov - this is just a small list of writers and poets of a large association - the Writers Union of the USSR. In the same row with them is our fellow countryman - the poet Fetko Viktor Georgievich (1943-2005), whose membership card is presented in the exposition "Exhibit of the Month".

Studying the membership card of the Writers Union Fetko Viktor Georgievich, we came across an interesting fact - the pseudonym assigned to writers was officially recorded in the membership card. The pseudonym of Viktor Fetko is Viktor Semenov. However, the Temirtau Museum collection does not contain a single book signed with this pseudonym. Even the manuscript of V.G. Fetko, formed into the book "The Last Five-Year Plan", is signed with his real name.
The handwritten book "The Last Five-Year Plan", presented in our exhibition, was compiled in the 1996-2000s, when the country and Temirtau were acutely aware of the economic and social crisis after the collapse of the Soviet Union. These large-scale changes influenced the poet's worldview and deeply shook him. The chronicler of his time, Viktor Georgievich Fetko, in his poems reflected his extremely sharp view of urban problems, which was in tune with all city dwellers.
Viktor Georgievich Fetko passed away in June 14, 2005 . In 2018, for the poet's 75th anniversary, a collection of poems, "The Last Five-Year Plan," was published with funds from his daughter Inna Fetko, which included almost all the poems from his manuscript. Exhibits related to the poet Fetko's activities were donated to the Temirtau Museum by the poet's daughter, Inna Fetko.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the poet's daughter

Fetko I.V., who shared her memories.
The exhibition will be open for a month.
