An alternative lesson: "Historical Monopoly" was launched at the Temirtau Museum for the National Currency Day on November 11, 2024.
In the format of an economic game, visitors are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of business, learn about commodity-money relations and the market structure, and study the forms of investing in IPOs, which is in line with the main directions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan's address to the people of Kazakhstan.
The game format is not complicated - Participants in the game are divided into business groups, perform certain tasks on the stock exchange, earn currency from different time periods - from primitive forms of money to USSR bonds. The money earned on the stock exchange is exchanged at the bank at the rate of the national currency - tenge.
With the money earned, items from the museum collection are "bought out" in the historical shop. Having purchased one or another product, they can open their own enterprise: a stable, a tavern, a laundry, a sewing workshop.
Game strategy - complete the task well and be the first to invest in a profitable business.
The first monopolists were Aliya, Bauyrzhan, Sabit, 7th grade students of School No. 6, who solemnly opened the doors of the "Stable".
